SERVICES
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul offers tangible assistance to those in need. This aid may take the form of direct dollar or in-kind service, intervention, advocacy and consultation. Thousands of people in the Upper Peninsula area have been assisted by way of home visits, visits in institutions (including persons incarcerated) and the following specialized projects:
- Rent (some Conferences assist with surety or deposits)
- Utilities
- Heating
- Transportation
- Clothing, Household Items and Furniture Vouchers
- Food
- Prescriptions
- And more
No work of charity is foreign to the Society.
